After the Hutong village we went to the China cultural center for welfare, and adoption. This is where all our paperwork was finally approved for each adoption and our girls were matched with us, although we believe that actually happened in heaven and was guided through the CCWA. We were shown where all that process took place and the girls got a little Calligraphy lesson and were presented a book on Chinese paper cutting by the director.
Next we went to a large welcome banquet and talent show put on by the sponsoring adoption agencies and the CCCWA. As you can see from the activities of this day they are keeping us so busy we have had a hard time writing much. We want this blog to be a record of the highlights of our trip, but it is very difficult to capture the feeling and experiences.
